Zusammenfassung: | We study the global stability of an HIV-1 model that takes into account Beddington-DeAngelis infection rate and an intracellular delay denoting the lag between the time of the virus contacts the target cell and the time of the cell becomes actively infected. By constructing Lyapunov functionals and LaSalle invariant principle, we show the global asymptotic stability of the infection-free and infected equilibrium. The results imply that the steady states are always globally asymptotically stable and offer guidance for developing new drugs to control HIV-1. |
