Zusammenfassung:Women entrepreneurs contribute significantly to the development of the economy of Bangladesh. In light of this, the study examines the budgetary allocation for women entrepreneurs for the last 10 ten years. It attempts to uncover the possible implementation gap and the extent of which these gaps have affected the effectiveness of the allocation. The study was carried out on 150 women entrepreneurs from all over Bangladesh selected by random sampling method and interviewed with the aid of predetermined question to determine the level of development impacted by the allocation. Statements were developed to operationalize development into welfare, access, participation, and control measured by a 5-point scale method. The variables were described and highlighted using descriptive analysis. The results showed that due to a little or no allocation, there is negligible impact on women development like housing, clothing food and access to land, credit and services. However, the respondents had high access to their own labor. Their low level of control over the resources might affect their development as an entrepreneur. The paper also suggests the steps that should be taken towards incorporating gender budgeting in the policymaking process and determining other appropriate measures for strengthening women's participation in making Bangladesh an entrepreneurial economy.
