Single-crystal erbium chloride silicate nanowires for novel Si-compatible sources at 1.53 μm
We report on synthesis of single crystal erbium chloride silicate nanowires, which exhibit superior optical property than erbium silicate, providing a new Si-compatible material for light emission and amplification at 1.53 μm wavelength.
