Supercontinuum pulse-to-pulse fluctuations in a photonic bandgap fiber

We propose here a passive method based on the use of a solid-core photonic bandgap (PBG) fiber, allowing a strong reduction of the long-wavelength edge fluctuations, thanks to a cancellation of the soliton self-frequency shift.
