Zusammenfassung: | Mobile ad hoc network is being studied to be applied in future aviation network. Due to high reliability requirement of most aviation applications, aviation ad hoc network connectivity is a feasibility issue. In order to utilize ad hoc network as a transmission medium in aviation, it is necessary to have a routing protocol that can maintain important routes from aircraft to ground station and handle network utilization to adapt with connectivity conditions. That kind of routing protocol often requires significant overhead. In this paper, we propose the technique to predict link longevity and use it as link state indicator. Then we present our novel routing methods based on predictable link longevity to reduce significantly overhead, while link stability is maintained. |
