The implementation and deployment of the virtual lab education system based on virtual server

This paper focuses on the development and deployment of the virtual education system SEI-VLab, which is based on the "Remote Lab" developed by Microsoft Corporation. In order to coordinate the need of the institute teaching, some improvements are added, such as user management, virtual machine management, laboratory manual management and so on. This system improves the management of virtual machines and raises the system use efficiency by using the COM monitoring programming connection which was provided by Virtual Server and Virtual Machine Manager. The operation of this virtual laboratory teaching system will not be influenced by the time. We can use remote login and carry out the online experiment. This offers great convenience to the students and they can do the experiment after class. Regarding the teacher, the deployment of the virtual laboratory will be more advantageous to test classroom instruction achievement and raise the teaching efficiency. Regarding the institute, the completion of the virtual laboratory saves the investment cost of hardware construction to a certain extent. Now the system has finished debugging and all functions have been achieved. It is already deployed in the actual teaching environment.
