Zusammenfassung:Training a large number of qualified software engineers is a great challenge for universities, and curriculum design is an important issue. Based on IEEE-CS/ACM SE2004, Nanjing University in China designs the software engineering undergraduate curriculum NJU-SEC2006. There are three main concerns about the curriculum design. Firstly, the knowledge delivering sequence is designed to match the different scales (small/medium/large) software development. Secondly, the knowledge of professional practices is integrated into courses throughout the whole undergraduate program. Thirdly, traditional computer science courses are reformed according to the situation of China. NJU-SEC2006 has been executed for years, and received positive feedback from students, instructors and employers.
