Zusammenfassung: | An alternative approach, based on an iterative least square optimization technique, for the design of antenna array exhibiting equal side lobes in their radiation pattern. New and generalized expression for the array factor of all physically realizable linear antenna arrays with progressive phase shifts are introduced. The algorithm is based on the statistically computed signal analysis. By considering the random element distance between the sensors, their mean, variance, average amplitude pattern and correlation of the amplitude between the two angles. Some mathematical formulation is being done and shown with help of MATLAB. Based on these generalized expression, a new way of synthesizing array with reduced side lobe is available. It applies to end fire antenna array, which may have either even or odd numbers of sensors with unrestricted elements spacing. No manipulations with transcendental functions are necessary, and the final expression shows a clear relationship between elements excitation and null location in the radiation patterns. For a give number of elements non equispaced by a constant amount, the algorithms returns the excitation currents under the condition that all side lobe are of same labels. |
