Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents a selection method of convolutonal multi-binary codes, rate 2/3, and of the associated interleavers that are used in turbo codes (TC) in order to obtain efficient BER/FER vs SNR performances. The method uses a selection criterion based on the convergence of turbo decoding iterative process both for interleavers and for the associated component codes. Results are presented following the selection of duo-binary memory 3 convolutional codes associated with two of the best known methods of interleaving in literature: the almost regular permutations (ARP) and the quadratic polynomial permutations (QPP). The obtained TCs have higher performances to those presented in the literature. |
