Zusammenfassung:This paper describes a possible approach to provide application-oriented functions and service definition capabilities in the Future Internet. This is achieved by introducing a Transport Service layer on top of the transport layer, that is used by the network to automatically negotiate with the applications the transport service they require. Experimental validation of the proposed solution is discussed.
