Zusammenfassung:The sensitivity of the optical TM wave waveguide with four-layer was derived in this paper. The variation of the sensitivity of the proposed sensor with different parameters of the waveguide is studied. We verify that the proposed sensor can dramatically enhance the sensitivity compared with the conventional three-layer TM wave waveguide sensors without metamaterials. Moreover, this sensor is more sensitive than optical waveguide sensor based on TE wave.
