Zusammenfassung: | In 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, cell search is a very important process for the user equipment (UE) to connect with base station (BS) when the UE power on. As Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS) detection is the first step of cell search, PSS is critical for cell search. The performance of the PSS detection needs to be good enough, and area is also an major factor for the cost of the UE application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) chip. So an area-efficient scheme to implement PSS detection is proposed. This paper discusses the relationships between the algorithm and the implementation architecture of PSS detection. We present a low-complexity and small-sized scheme with high performance to implement the PSS detection. |
