Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents a novel wireless power pick-up based on linear tuning control. The Linearly Tuned Parallel Pick-up (LTPP) is specifically designed for low power consumer electronic applications where the EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) needs to be minimized. The proposed pick-up has many advantages including smooth power regulation, ability to operate at high Q, low component count, and simple pick-up topology. It is particularly suitable for transferring power to electronic consumer devices (e.g. cell phones) with very limited space and stringent EMI requirements. A prototype pick-up circuit has been developed and tested for a simple battery charging application. It has shown that the system is able to transfer up to 1W of power at rated load with minimal power loss in the tuning circuit. The pick-up has been simulated using LTSpice package and the results are in good agreement with practical tests. |
