Zusammenfassung: | This paper describes an e-banking system designed for both mobile handhelds and regular computers. This system demonstrates how to bring together and generalize online services, such as e-banking, e-auctions and e-shopping. That is why the system exposes its services over HTTP in both HTML, targeting common web browsers, and XML (i.e. web services), targeting mainly, but not only, mobile devices. Using SOAP web services makes e-banking (or other kind of) services integration into various vendors' software applications remarkably simple and efficient business-wise. Essentially, the authors regard the mobile terminal e-banking client as a sample showing how to integrate e-banking web based services into third party applications. More than often, these third parties are not involved in the banking business, but would possibly like to offer their customers, for instance, a quick way to make a bank transfer into their account. |
