Zusammenfassung: | New reflection-type wavelength selective IR emitter suitable for portable gas sensor is proposed. Wood's anomaly, which occurs in metallic grating at the wavelength equal to the pitch of the structure for normal incidence, is first used controlling thermal emission. Emission peak at wavelength nearly equal to the period of the grating is observed. Q-factor of the observed peak is ~12.5 for TM polarization. As for IR with other wavelength, the reflectors including grating confine the power. The emitter temperature increases, consuming lower input power with higher power efficiency. |
