Zusammenfassung: | The Grid is growing with its large number of users and services that are being published by its publishers. The dilemma is to handle the meaningful information that is the metadata of Grid services. The metadata can then be used for the automatic processing of the Grid services. In this era we can describe and associate information to the services by using ontology languages such as OWL. With the growth of the Grid services, the metadata of services need to be highly significant and this necessitate for a semantic grid services registry that registers the services handling the scalability and reliability semantically. The usefulness of the Grid services is only if registered by service providers and the consumers can efficiently discover. We propose a semantic Grid service registry offering scalability and reliability to the semantically enriched services published and discovered in and from the semantic registry as well as managing the registry growth and its self based organization with the help of semantic DHT (Distributed Hash Table) based overlay network. It basically assists the service providers to register their services along with the services users to search and subscribe for the grid services semantically. In this paper we evaluated our architecture by managing massive number of users and decentralizing and distributing the semantic metadata information exploiting the DHTs. Semantic Grid service registry is capable to publish, discover and subscribe to different domains of the grid services. |
