Design of definition method of attenuation distribution in spiral slow-wave structures of TWT

The experimental evaluation method for determining the distribution of attenuation along the length of the helical slow-traveling wave tube using a moving short-circuiting probe is discussed. The description of the measuring method as well as the results of experiments is given.
