Effect of chemical treatment on the optical properties of a cdte photovoltaic device investigated by spectroscopic ellipsometry

Variable angle Spectroscopic Ellipsometry (SE) was used to study CdTe PV devices at multiple points in the production process, with specific attention to the effect of applying of CdCl 2 and Cu treatment. Results suggest the potential value of this characterization technique.
