Zusammenfassung: | This paper proposes Eigen value analyses to assess the most appropriate input signals (stabilizing signal) for supplementary damping control of SVC. The approaches considered in selecting most receptive signal to a mode of the Inter-area oscillation are: controllability and observability based on Hankel Singular Value (HSV) and non-minimum phase system based on Right-Half Plane zeroes. The usefulness of the proposed method of selection signals is demonstrated on IEEE 145-Bus Power system. |
