Zusammenfassung: | Wastewater treatment practices have been significantly improved since the introduction of novel microbial treatment technologies. The Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) system for ammonia removal over nitrite (SHARON) process by intermittent aeration as well as the key parameters of SHARON, were studied in this paper, which includes pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO) and sludge age, to obtain the required anaerobic ammonium oxidation (ANAMMOX) influent that must be composed of ammonia and nitrite in a ratio 1:1. The results show that the suitable conditions are as follows. (1) pH is 7.5~8.0; (2) temperature is 30~40°C; (3) DO is 1.0~1.5 mg/L; (4) sludge age is greater than 15 d. When the SBR is run under these suitable conditions, and influent ammonia concentration is 200 mg/L, an ammonium/nitrite ratio of 1:1 is obtained using 5-min-aeration and 5-min-stuffiness with oxygenlimited. The results imply that SBR system for SHARON process is efficient and inexpensive. |
