Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents an approach to effectively mine data from a Monogenean image data set. This approach uses a Taxonomy ontology which includes image annotation with 3 major categories of taxonomic classification, key identification (morphological structure) and image property (types of image). The images are stored locally and annotated with these parameters. The Taxonomy ontology is used for querying purposes i.e. add, delete, update and retrieve the information (image). Using this ontology, the search process becomes more specific and focus resulting in more accurate results based on the users' queries. Image data mining using semantic technology presented in this paper is able to deal with textual and image data types. |
