Zusammenfassung:This paper presents a concept of a novel Ka-band receiving multibeam antenna that can be used for high-rate data relays between a GEO satellite and several LEO satellites. The antenna is a payload candidate for the German communications satellite Heinrich-Hertz that is intended to be launched in 2014. First numerical results assessing the radiation characteristics and performance of the proposed antenna are given.
