Woodpile photonic crystals with a complete bandgap reaching telecom wavelengths
By using direct laser writing into a novel commercially available photoresist, silicon-double-inversion, and tempering of the resulting structures, we realize woodpile photonic crystals with a complete bandgap near 1.55 μm wavelength.
