Zusammenfassung:The electromagnetic characteristics of radomes are usually analyzed by geometrical optics, physical optics, equivalent transmission line and plane wave spectral methods. For a large aperture of antenna-radome system however, these methods may meet some difficulties in the integral and numerical computations, and the multiple internal reflection between radome surfaces is usually neglected, which will have some influence on the calculation accuracy. The radiation pattern of a phased array is first simulated by some Gaussian-like beams radiated from complex source points, then the individual beam passes through the radome, and finally the superposition of the far fields of the beams results in the radome-covered array patterns.
