Zusammenfassung:Theoretical and experimental models have been considered for the prediction of the path loss in systems of mobile communications. This paper reviews Cost231-Walfisch-Ikegami model for prediction of path loss in mobile outdoor microcell environments. The proposed statistical model aligns in accordance to the measured data, considering roof height, road width as normal random variables. The characterization used is a linear curve, fitting the path loss to the variations. Five parameters are modelled statistically, with the dependencies on height of base station, distance from base station, road width and roof top height. The model is validated by comparing the simulated results with the measurement campaigns carried out in urban and suburban regions.
