Zusammenfassung:This paper presents empirical evidence intended to compare consumer acceptance of mobile payment systems use in comparison to other traditional online payment systems such as PayPal and conventional Credit Card methods. The study used attributes from the literature that were reported as success attributes for online payment systems. The scales used to measure these attributes were adapted for experimental simulation. Results from the study show that there was a significant difference between the use of mobile payment and traditional online payment systems. The results also showed that the mobile payment system was more acceptable to consumers than traditional online payment systems.
