Zusammenfassung:The most common method of extremum searching for linear frequency modulation (LFM) signal in fractional Fourier domain is the step-based algorithm. But this method is inefficient and time consuming, which affects the application of fractional Fourier transform. In order to overcome this shortcoming, the particle swarm optimization method is introduced and applied successfully in fractional Fourier transform. The influences of different particle numbers and inertia weights are talked about and analyzed extensively. Simulation results show that the performance of particle swarm optimization method is much better than that of the step-based method. It seems that the particle swarm optimization method with proper linearly decreasing inertia weight strategy is more preferable in terms of efficiency, precision, and resolution.
