The reconstruction of signals and images from the noisy Fourier transform phase by means of the generalized difference principle

In the paper the problem of reconstruction of signals and images with finite support region from the noisy Fourier transform phase function is considered. The problem turns out to be ill-posed with respect to distortion in a signal or image phase. A regularizing algorithm is proposed that significantly improves an estimate of a signal or image reconstructed from the noisy phase.
