Chirped sub-50 fs pulse generation: Optimization of fiber length for ultrafast fiber optical parametric oscillators

Sub-50 fs pulses at 940 nm having linear chirp are generated using a synchronously-pumped fiber optical parametric oscillator where the fiber length is chosen to compensate for dispersion from optical components inside of the cavity.
