Finite element analysis of welded T junctions stress of boilers

Stress conditions of large-caliber welded T junctions, used in small and medium boilers, have been studied under different pressures with ANSYS®12.0 based on finite element analysis. The results show the feasibility of increasing the thickness as a way of reinforcement when the pressure increases.
