Zusammenfassung: | The performance of a cross-frequency detector against pulsed sinusoidal Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) is analyzed theoretically. The effects of duty cycle and RFI strength are examined, and the detection performance of the cross-frequency algorithm is compared with that achieved by pulse and kurtosis detectors. The performance loss that occurs in the cross-frequency algorithm when an RFI source is not centered in a frequency channel is also quantified, and a computationally simple model for this loss is described. |
