Zusammenfassung:The capacity planning is a major designing issue of dense-wavelength-division-multiplexing (DWDM) optical transport networks as promising architectures for the implementation of Internet Protocol (IP) infrastructures. The robust optical transport networks exhibit the desired quality of service (QoS) for IP networks despite the presence of significant uncertainty in the traffic models. An efficient robust capacity planning under demand uncertainty is presented at optical physical layer based on fuzzy logic for dynamic wavelength allocation. The trade off between the capacity investment and the future uncertainty accommodation has been analyzed. The statistical analyze of results evaluated on the COST291 network demonstrates that the approach is tackle for the provision of demand uncertainty by providing confidence intervals in uncertain environments.
