Zusammenfassung: | Microstrip open-loop rectangular ring resonator is newly presented as the substructure and analyzed to be suitable for equalizer designing. A microstrip open-loop rectangular ring resonator is discussed with the coupling distance and the opening gap as the parameters. Compared with the traditional microstrip branch resonator and rectangular ring resonator, it is good to microstrip equalizer construction for its maximum miniaturization and its character of frequency adjustable, attenuation adjustable and quality factor adjustable. Four such resonators are used to design a microstrip equalizer for a traveling wave tube system to obtain a flat output practically. High frequency structure simulator (HFSS) is used to do the design. Good results are obtained when applicable computer programs are used to predict equalizer performance and determine necessary circuit element values. When it is fabricated the measured performance shows a good agreement with the simulated response. |
