Zusammenfassung:Selected mapping (SLM) is a popular scheme for peak power reduction in orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. In this letter, the performance of various versions of SLM, among them ordinary and directed SLM, in single- and multi-antenna point-to-point OFDM systems is assessed. Analytic expressions for the distribution of the PAR are derived. Numerical results cover that significant gains over conventional SLM can be achieved by directed SLM.
