Seeing the unseen: What can we learn from polarization-sensitive eyes in nature and how can we design better imaging systems?

We give an overview of our work on biologically-inspired polarization imaging. We first review the biophysical mechanisms of polarization vision, and then we present sample results of our bio-inspired imaging techniques.
