Zusammenfassung: | Mitigation of non-line-of-sight (NLOS) errors in the GEO-location problem has received much attention. It is well-known that these errors degrade the robustness and accuracy of GEO-location systems, utilizing time-of-arrival (TOA) measurements. In this paper, we propose a robust adaptive trimming method to mitigate the NLOS errors in location estimation of a single moving sensor. This method is based on a statistical approach to identify and then trim the NLOS errors adaptively. Further enhancements to this basic trimming method are also discussed. Simulation results show an improvement over conventional approaches, for localization of a stationary target, in a mixed LOS and NLOS environment. |
