Zusammenfassung: | WiMax mesh network provides a mechanism for creating multi-hop mesh, which can be deployed as high speed wide area wireless network. The routing and scheduling are two key factors that influence the performance of the WiMax mesh networks. In this paper, we introduce cross-layer design scheme and take both routing and scheduling into account in order to improve the performance. A centralized scheduling and channel assignment algorithm, called Layered Critical Path (LCP), and a related routing construction algorithm based on cross-layer design are proposed for multi-channel single-transceiver WiMax mesh networks. The simulation result shows the cross-layer scheme can improve efficiently system performance. |
