Zusammenfassung: | RFID technology has been dramatically improving so much in recent years, which in turn results in lower-cost tags and higher read reliability. In any large-scale implementation of RFID, RFID middleware plays a key role. Data from various readers are filtered, grouped and counted by RFID middleware and then these data are distributed to various applications. Since different applications require different data, middleware has to adapt to all applications. When more applications are in need, it is necessary to adjust middleware to satisfy them, which however costs lots of time and efforts. This paper constructs a publish/subscribe system to meet the demand on data exchange between middleware and applications. By virtue of this design, it is possible for middleware to be independent of applications. When demands for applications alter, what we need to do is to subscribe again and this enhances the flexibility of middleware. |
