Plasmon-enhanced single photon emission from a nano-assembled metal-diamond hybrid structure

We demonstrate the controlled assembly of diamond nanocrystals and gold nanoparticles, thus enhancing the emission properties of single nitrogen-vacancy color centers and realizing an efficient and stable single photon source at room-temperature.
