Zusammenfassung:The growth and characterization of terbium gallium garnet (TGG) for high average Faraday isolators is reported. The main technique of TGG single crystals growing is Czochralski method. Key physical parameters of the grown crystals are measured: thermal conductivity, heat capacity, thermal expansion coefficient, refractive index thermal dependence, optical damage threshold and spectral function of Verdet constant.
