Zusammenfassung: | Service-enabled applications have become a need in todaypsilas environment of mashups and Web 2.0. Traditional SOAP-based Web services and Representational State Transfer (REST) are alternatives as the popularity of these applications grows. REST has recently gained visibility and its lower entry barrier seems adequate for many applications. This paper proposes the configuration of an applicationpsilas REST services using XML files. A remote administration service is also described in order to support fine grained run-time changes to the configuration of an applicationpsilas REST services. A GUI tool is presented for the creation and editing of these files as well as for providing an interface for the administration service. Finally, a default implementation of a server that supports the administration service is presented. |
