Zusammenfassung:A Petri net model for a class of manufacturing systems is presented. The authors address the problem of deadlock avoidance by introducing a Petri net controller and prove a necessary and sufficient liveness condition on a Petri net model. The authors then present their deadlock avoidance controller and prove that the controlled system with their controller is live. The proposed controller can be realized by a Petri net and the final model of the controlled system is a live Petri net.
