Monolithic integration of diffractive optical element on silicon 45-degree micro-reflector

A monolithically integrating of a diffractive optical element onto a silicon-based 45deg micro-reflector for facilitating the optical alignment of non-coplanar fiber-to-fiber coupling with a working distance of 300 mum is experimentally demonstrated.
