Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents the analysis, design, simulation and experimental results of a DC-DC converter that uses a parallel resonant link working with an internal frequency of 40 kHz with IGBTs. The converter is intended to be used as a battery charger for railway applications and is directly supplied by the catenary high voltage which may vary from 1 to 4 kV, DC or AC. To face these requirements the converter uses several switches in series. Simultaneous commutation of the IGBTs is accomplished by using ZCS resonant process. |
