Zusammenfassung:We aim to design a microwave synthesizer using a PLL and taking into account the EMC/EMI problems. These problems are more important when using two synthesizers in a communication system, one for the transmitter with direct frequency modulation of the oscillator (VCO), and another as a local oscillator for the receiver. EMC/EMI issues have been treated in this work from a practical point of view: layout, type of used components, and distribution of power supply.
