| Zusammenfassung: | This work presents the development of an experimental device that was designed and developed in order to consider a number of geometric simplifications aiming at the validation of a CFD model applied to the external fan system of an electric motor. The geometry of the experimental device is transposed to CFD software and the numeric results are compared with the previously obtained experimental data of airspeed and power consumption of the fan system. The obtained results present good correlation between experimental and numerical data. |
