Zusammenfassung: | This paper is concerned on field programmable gate array (FPGA) design for control implementations of the single-phase matrix converter (SPMC) operating as a frequency changer. Sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) technique is used to synthesize the output voltage with increased frequency. The power circuit uses insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) as switching device in implementation. Safe-commutation strategy was incorporated to minimize switching transients. Selected simulation and experimental results are presented to verify operation with. |
