Zusammenfassung:PV (photovoltaic) systems are described here that have the functions to charge the generated electric power to series connected EDLCs (electric double layer capacitors) efficiently and to control the stored electric power effectively so as to regenerate the generated electric power to a utility only when EDLCs are in the fully charged state. These functions are realized by embedding an EDLC charge controller and a power manager into the PV system. The controller charges the generated power in the EDLCs while carrying out MPPT (maximum power tracking) control and the power manager controls the electric power acquired through the MPP control and the electric power stored to the EDLCs according to the charging state of the EDLCs. The controller efficiently charges the electric energy acquired by MPP control to the EDCLCs regardless of their charged state and the weather conditions. The power manager can suppress an abnormal increase in the source voltage of the utility which is caused by local regeneration on a fine day and it can use the stored electric power for loads effectively. These performances of the PV systems are verified through simulations.
