Zusammenfassung: | We present a no-reference spatial aliasing measure (SAM) for images, that assesses the impact of visual jaggy edges in resized digital images. The measure makes use of the fact that visible spatial aliasing is likely to occur in areas with strong directional energy. In these regions, aliasing energy often appears in frequency regions that have little image content. We show the effectiveness of SAM using a subjective test. |
