Investigation of microwave energy propagation character along single-conductor line

An experimental device for microwave discharge excitation in a single-conductor Goubau line has been proposed and studied. It is shown that energy transmission to a load during microwave flare discharge cab be considered as surface plasma-polariton mode propagating along the line.
